Gaze of Crysthamyr is a post-Moon Lord mount summoning item. When used it summons a rideable Shadow Dragon mount which can run and fly at high speeds.

The Shadow Dragon is capable of running at a speed of 51 mph while on the ground and can reach 69 mph while flying vertically. The Shadow Dragon mount cannot double jump but is capable of 12.5 seconds of flight, with a high maximum vertical speed but weak upwards acceleration. Like the Hoverboard, holding ▼ Down and ↷ Jump while in the air will make the mount hover. Holding ▲ Up while in the air will greatly boost the vertical acceleration.
