The Rotting Eyeball is a Pre-Hardmode pet summoning item that is dropped by The Hive Mind. It summons a miniature Hive Mind to follow the player around. It has a 1 in 500 chance per frame to charge at the player while making a roar sound and then teleporting to a random location near the player afterwards, which has a 5 second cooldown.
