Normality Relocator is a post-Moon Lord tool. While it is in the player's inventory, they may press the Normality Relocator key to instantly warp to the position of the cursor. Unlike the Rod of Discord, the Relocator cannot be used normally like other tools via selecting it in the hotbar and pressing the ⚒ Use / Attack key. The player's momentum is fully conserved when teleporting.

Using the Relocator costs no mana or ammunition but will inflict the Chaos State debuff, which prevents further teleporting for 20 seconds. Using the Relocator while no boss is currently active will inflict Chaos State for 6 seconds.

Additionally, after teleporting with the item the player's maximum fall speed will be increased by 3.5 and they'll accelerate downwards much faster, similarly to holding a Portal Gun.

Notes

• Unlike the Rod of Discord, the Normality Relocator can be used while using another item. This can prove valuable for players using weapons with slow use times.
• The Normality Relocator does not serve as a direct upgrade to the Rod of Discord, due to its higher cooldown.
• The Normality Relocator cannot be equipped as it's not an accessory; its movement and fall speed bonuses apply when it's in the inventory.
• Due to the Normality Relocator applying Chaos State, it is not recommended to use it in the Abyss, unless the player is prepared to fight a Primordial Wyrm.

• 2.0.3.001: Can no longer be used infinitely while the player is dead.

• 2.0.2.001: Now only gives Chaos State for 6 seconds if there is no boss alive.

  • Removed movement speed boost, and fall speed boost after teleporting has been capped at 30 frames.
