Blood Samples are Pre-Hardmode crafting materials that are dropped by The Perforators. They are used in the crafting of equipment dropped by The Perforators and the Bloody Worm Food.

Notes
- In Get fixed boi worlds, placing a Blood Sample in the Draedon Power Cell slot in The Codebreaker with a Decryption Computer and an Auric Quantum Cooling Cell installed replaces the "Summon" option to "Evoke" instead, which summons XB-∞ Hekate in place of the Exo Mechs.
Trivia
- Using a Blood Sample to summon XB-Hekate is a reference to the summoning method of an unofficial Calamity Mod boss, XP-00 Hypnos, which originated in the unofficial Calamity Mod Fandom wiki, wherein a Bloody Vein is used instead of a Blood Sample.
