The Charred Idol is a craftable Hardmode boss-summoning item that is used to summon the Brimstone Elemental. It can only be used in the Brimstone Crag.

  • 2.0.3.005: Changed flavor tooltip from "Use at your own risk" to "Anything under her gaze shall be scorched beyond recognition."
  • 1.5.1.001:
    • Now requires a Hellforge to craft instead of a Hardmode Forge.
    • Now uses the Rarity Level: 5 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 6.
    • Reworded tooltip.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Now non-consumable and stacks to 1.
    • Can no longer be used during Boss Rush.
    • No longer sold by the Wizard after defeating Brimstone Elemental.
    • Now uses 7 Essences of Chaos and 2 Unholy Cores in its recipe instead of 5 Essences of Chaos.
