The Pulse Rifle is a craftable post-Moon Lord ranged weapon. When fired, a large purple beam is fired that creates a small dust explosion when contacting a block or enemy. The beam will arc towards other nearby enemies once contacting an enemy.
The weapon consumes 0.24 units of charge per use and has a maximum charge of 250. As such, the weapon can be used continuously from full charge 1041 times, or for 10 minutes and 7 seconds.
Its best modifier is Unreal. However, the weapon's knockback will not be affected due to already being 0.

The Pulse Rifle cannot be crafted until the Encrypted Schematic from the Ice Bio-center Lab is decrypted. If the requirement has not been met, two lines of tooltip are added at the bottom of the item:

History
- 2.0.3.003: Nerfed damage from 1420 to 1200, it now arcs up to 3 times instead of 5, and each arc now deals 40% previous arc damage instead of 50%. However, increased its range.
- 1.5.1.001: No longer does more damage to inorganic enemies.
- 1.5.0.001:
- Nerfed damage from 10,780 to 1420.
- Can no longer hit enemies at a 4:1 ratio.
- Now uses 2 Ascendant Spirit Essences and 8 Cosmilite Bars in its recipe instead of 4 Auric Bars.
