Starblight Soot is a Hardmode crafting material that is dropped by enemies in the Astral Infection biome as well as Astrum Deus and the Astrum Aureus.

- 5-10 from Astral Crates, 30-80 from Astral Chests and 1-20 from feeding the Extractinator with Celestial Remains or Novae Slag at a 10% chance.
