Use

The Old Power Cell is a Hardmode boss-summoning item that summons Golem. It can only be used in the Jungle Temple under certain conditions. To successfully use the Old Power Cell, the player must be standing in front of unsafe Lihzahrd Brick Walls, and they must be fully underground.

Unlike Lihzahrd Power Cells, the Old Power Cell can be used to summon Golem before Plantera has been defeated.

Notes

• The regular Lihzahrd Power Cells cannot be used to summon Golem unless Plantera has been defeated first; attempting to use the item on the Lihzahrd Altar prior to Plantera's death will simply not do anything. Old Power Cells are thus required to summon the Golem before Plantera, useful for cases in which the Temple Key was crafted early or if the player hoiked into the Jungle Temple.
