The Nuclear Fuel Rod is a Hardmode accessory that is dropped by the Cragmaw Mire. When equipped, it causes all minion attacks to spawn shortly lingering irradiated dust clouds on enemy hits that deal 20 summon damage, inflict the Irradiated debuff and has a 1 second cooldown. It also increases the maximum number of minions by 1 and grants immunity to the Irradiated debuff.

- The aura effect will override the spawn of Jelly-Charged Battery's orbs and will be overridden by Starbuster Core's explosion and Nucleogenesis's sparks.
- This accessory can also be obtained from the Sulphurous Crate after completing Tier 2 Acid Rain.
