Not to be confused with Photosynthesis, a Hardmode magic weapon.

The Photosynthesis Potion is a craftable Hardmode buff potion. Upon consumption, it grants the Photosynthesis buff, which increases life regen by 1 and accelerates natural life regen while the player is not moving. Life regen is increased to 34 during the day and also causes heart pickups to heal an additional 5 health.

Notes

• The increased life regen from the Photosynthesis buff is overridden by the effects of the Shiny Stone, the Demonshade Breastplate, and the Cosmic Freeze buff.
• Although the tooltip says the life regen is 5 times stronger during the daytime, it provides up to 34 life regen at its peak instead of the expected 30.
