  • 2.0.3.005: No longer has an alternate recipe using Carnage Ray.
  • 2.0.3.003:
    • Buffed damage from 50 to 60, but the beam now grants 12 local immunity frames instead of 8.
    • Hits now spawn up to 3 shards based on distance instead of 4, and shards now deal 50% base damage instead of 60%.
  • 2.0.2.001: Decreased sell price from 16 Gold Coin to 12 Gold Coin.
  • 2.0.1.001: Now uses 12 Living Shards in both of its recipes instead of 7.
  • 1.5.1.001:
    • Shard no longer homes into enemies behind tiles.
    • No longer considered a nature weapon.
    • Fixed an issue where shards did not deal damage.
  • 1.4.5.001: Now uses Valkyrie Ray in its recipe.
  • 1.4.4.004: Nerfed damage from 85 to 50, and use time from 19 to 24.
  • 1.4.2.105:
    • Buffed damage from 75 to 85.
    • All projectiles now set NPC immunity frames to 8.

    • Buffed damage from 55 to 70, but nerfed knockback from 5.5 to 4.
    • Resprited.
  • 1.2.0.001: Buffed damage from 40 to 55, and use time from 29 to 20.
  • 1.1.7.901:
    • Nerfed use time from 25 to 29.
    • Split beams now last 0.25 seconds instead of 0.5.
    • Dust is now larger, but less frequent.
    • Split rays are now wider.
    • Removed tooltip "Fires a beam of life energy that can split into additional beams. Enemies must be near for the beam to split".
  • 1.1.7.851: Can now use Carnage Ray in its recipe as an alternative for Night's Ray.
  • 1.1.7.55: Now uses 7 Living Shards in its recipe instead of Shadowbeam Staff and 5 Living Shards.
  • 1.1.7.5: Nerfed damage from 47 to 40.
  • 1.1.7:
    • Nerfed damage from 54 to 47.
    • Split beams now deal 70% main beam damage instead of 42.5%.
    • Split beams now last 0.5 seconds instead of 2, and secondary split beams now last 0.5 seconds instead of 0.17.
  • 1.1.5.094:
    • Nerfed damage from 57 to 54.
    • Resprited.
