Vernal Pass

The Vernal Pass is a unique mini-biome which generates in the Underground Jungle. It features a large, open area with Vernal Soil lining the floor, and a central island that can grow Giant Plantera Bulbs. Additionally, a dozen of small vine-covered cabins can be found on each side of the area. Five of these cabins have Ivy Chests, which contain Jungle-themed items and other common chest loot.

If the player finds the Vernal Pass, they can travel downwards and find the Jungle Temple, and vice versa. Rarely, if the Temple generates too high, the Pass will instead be placed below it.

Notes

• Because the Vernal Pass spawns into the world before the Sunken Sea, the Sunken Sea can override and destroy the Vernal Pass if it spawns too close.
