  • 2.0.4.002:
    • Buffed damage from 60 to 65.
    • Fixed beams splitting infinitely in multiplayer.
  • 2.0.4.001:
    • Renamed from "Genisis" to "Genesis".
    • Reworked:
      • Buffed damage from 74 to 108, but nerfed mana cost from 4 to 20.
      • No longer fires splitting beams and a random spread of lasers.
      • Now fires a large spread of lasers which gets tighter on successive shots.
      • Every sixth shot replaces the spread of lasers with a powerful splitting beam, which resets the laser spread. Hitting enemies on the sweet spot where the beam splits deals extra damage.
    • Now uses Laser Rifle in its recipe instead of Laser Machinegun.
    • Now uses the Rarity Level: 11 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 10.
    • Increased sell price from 20 Gold Coin to 24 Gold Coin.
    • Resprited.
  • 2.0.2.001:
    • Buffed damage from 56 to 70.
    • Y-beams now grant 6 ID-static immunity frames instead of 100.
  • 1.5.0.001:
    • Buffed damage from 55 to 56.
    • Beams now grant ID-static immunity frames instead of local immunity frames.
  • 1.4.3.002:
    • Nerfed damage from 65 to 55, and use time from 3 to 4.
    • Nerfed small laser damage from 75% base damage to 65%, and lowered small laser knockback by 40%.
    • Fixed dust visuals on rays.
  • 1.4.2.104: Beams now grant 100 local immunity frames instead of 80.
  • 1.3.3.011:
    • Buffed damage from 24 to 26.
    • Particle beam now grants 80 local immunity frames instead of 8.

  • 1.1.7.901: Removed tooltip "Shoots a big ol' death beam and a volley of laser blasts. The beam splits in two upon death".
  • 1.1.7.855: Beams now grant local immunity frames instead of global immunity frames when hitting enemies.

    • Nerfed damage from 129 to 120.
    • Now uses the Rarity Level: 12 rarity instead of Rarity Level: 10.

    • Now requires an Ancient Manipulator to craft instead of a Hardmode Anvil.
    • Now uses 5 Luminite Bars in its recipe instead of 10.
  • 1.1.7: Beam now sets NPC immunity frames to 5.
