Talk:Old Power Cell
Hi. I wanted to fight golem pre plantera, but he didnt spawned after i used old powered cell. At old cell's page says that i can summon him early hardmode(supposedly pre plantera), but i guess its an old description. So i would like to know is it intended that way or its a very strange path of progression that no one is using it.

- Make sure you use the item correctly, however. Remember that unlike a Lihzahrd Power Cell, it must be used like other boss summons (left-clicking in the right biome which is the Temple) and not via right-clicking at an Altar.
Usage Conditions
The conditions in which the Old Power Cell can be used seems to differ from those listed on the page for the item. What appears to be the conditions is that:
A: The player is below the surface. It appears to require the player to be fully underground, as attempting to use it above 3' underground does nothing.
B: The player is in front of unsafe Lihzard Brick Wall (forbidden or naturally generated.)
C: The player is within a certain distance from the Lihzard Altar, less than approximately 40 feet in any direction. If this condition is not fulfilled, the player will hold up the item as if it is being used, but will not summon Golem. If either of the other conditions are not fulfilled, the item will not be used whatsoever.
Found and tested on Calamity Mod v2.0.3.8 and tModLoader v2023.10.3.0
