Your recent talk page edit
I think you might be confusing the Wiki Contributor and Wiki Editor roles. The sole reason for the Wiki Contributor role is to have access to the #wiki-basic channel, which exists as a place for people to talk about Wiki editing with others and help them with editing. There's no need for any trust or similar system because its entire purpose is just to grant access to a channel for talking about a specific topic. The Wiki Editor role is the one that requires trust and commitment to earn because, at least previously, it gave access not only to a more restricted channel but also to the mod's source code. Now that the mod is open source though, its purpose is entirely a prestige role for those who have made good quality edits over a very long period of time, thereby making any sort of trust system for Wiki Contributor completely unnecessary.
I'm not sure what happened that made you feel like it'd be better for you not to have the role, or even for you to stop editing entirely, but that's completely your choice. If you ever change your mind and want the role back, we'd be happy to have you. Temp35 (talk) 20:35, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
