More subsections?

Should we split each weapon type (like boomerangs and swords for melee, or bows and guns for ranged) into its own subsection in the page, like how it is in the vanilla Terraria wiki? --Cronuswaters (talk) 23:50, 13 February 2017 (UTC)

Yes, split it up into weapon types and merge 'Hardmode' and 'post-Plantera'. It should be 'Pre-Hardmode', 'Hardmode' and 'Post-Moon Lord'. Designations like 'post-Plantera' or 'post-Skeletron' are typically reserved for individual item and enemy pages. --Krispion666 (talk) 19:09, 14 February 2017 (UTC)

What is the weapons arrangement?

Were the weapons in each table alphabetically arranged on purpose, like for navigation and all that? If it isn't, it could be arranged based on their base damage like in the vanilla Terraria wiki, if you agree at least. --Itspauloplays (talk) 18:24, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Yes, it is alphabetical on purpose. Weapon damages change so often, and sometimes without warning, it would be a nightmare to keep track of so this is just much easier on us. Temp35 (The One True King) (talk) 13:22, 27 November 2018 (UTC)

Can it be the same as it is in the vannila wiki because this way I have to search through every one to find out which is the best or what I could use to help me. My other thing I would say is perhaps it could be in order of when you get them. LucasFSM2 (talk) 13:40, 10 January 2021 (UTC)

If you visit another page for more specific weapon choices, for example Melee weapons or Guns, you can sort those tables by damage (for the 'best' weapon?) or by rarity (for a rough 'progression order'). Hardmode Biome Blade?

Biome Blade is in the Hardmode section of swords when it should be in the Pre-Hardmode section.
