Community modifications/Rules and guidelines

From Calamity Mod Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

This page lists the rules and guidelines that dictate whether a mod can be added to the community modifications page. Meeting all of the criteria is not a guarantee that the mod will be allowed to be added, however, failing to meet one or more of the guidelines guarantees that the mod will not be added.

The Wiki team reserves the right to make final judgement on whether or not a mod should be added. The Wiki team also reserves the right to change, add to, or remove from these guidelines in the future, if they deem it necessary.

Rules

  • The mod must have more than 100,000 subscribers on the Steam Workshop. This is to make sure the mod is at least somewhat popular in the community.
  • The mod must not be related to the Calamity Fandom Wiki or the Calamity Community Remix Mod. We do not want to promote the Calamity Fandom Wiki any more than necessary.
  • The mod's content must have significant relation to the Calamity Mod. This is to prevent any popular mod adding Calamity to its name and becoming eligible for addition. Significant content may include (but is not limited to):
    • Reworks of, or additions to, Calamity bosses or enemies.
    • Implementing new content relating to the lore of the Calamity Mod.
    • Reimplementing past content from the Calamity Mod.
  • To be added to the 'Supported Mods' section, a given mod must have support implemented by the Calamity Mod, not the other way around.
