> Hello, please don't upload GIFs for weapons or items that do not require them or otherwise don't follow the set guidelines for GIFs on this wiki. The basics are as follows:

• If a text description is sufficient for describing an item's function, then it should not have a GIF.
• Only the highest tier weapon of a progression should get a GIF. Exceptions are made for weapons with very different functionalities and Legendary weapons.
• GIFs should not wait out debuff timers that are longer than 2-3 seconds.

I don't know if the vanilla wiki has changed their standards of what weapons should have GIFs since I last visited it, but here they should only be considered if they're complex enough to warrant one. The Basher or Mycelial Claws are great examples of weapons that definitely shouldn't require one. If you wish to continue making GIFs or otherwise contribute to the wiki, please ask a moderator on the Calamity Discord for the Wiki Contributor role, it'll let you access a channel for discussing editing.
