Wet is a vanilla debuff that causes the target to visually drip water. It is inflicted by the Leviathan Ambergris accessory, several water-themed weapons, Water Turrets, and Cnidrions.

The Calamity Mod additionally causes the Wet debuff to increase electricity damage against enemies inflicted. This electricity debuff damage buff works as follows:

• If an enemy is neutral to electricity debuffs, they will instead take 2x damage, as if they were vulnerable.
• If an enemy is vulnerable to electricity debuffs, they will take an additional 1.5x damage, increasing the damage multiplier from 2x to 3x.
• If an enemy is resistant to electricity debuffs, the resistance is effectively canceled out. This causes debuffs to deal 1x damage instead of 0.5x.
