The 1.2.2.001 update gave The Devourer of Gods a second phase and added several new features to the Supreme Calamitas fight. The update also added new drops for Astrum Deus and Ravager, Lore items, and a variety of resprites.

Additions

  • Added Hematemesis, Nebulash, Starfall.
  • Added Lore items: The Desert Scourge, Death of the Desert Scourge, The Eye of Cthulhu, Death of The Eye of Cthulhu, Crabulon, Profaned Crag, The Underworld, The Crimson, The Corruption, The Ocean, The Brain of Cthulhu, The Eater of Worlds, The Perforators and their Hive, The Hive Mind, The Slime God, Queen Bee, Skeletron, Wall of Flesh, Cryogen, The Mechanical Bosses.
  • Added Blood Pact and Flesh Totem.

Changes

Bosses

Astrageldon Slime

  • Buffed laser damage in Normal Mode from 62 to 72.
  • Nerfed the amount of defense it gains while its health lowers.
  • Reduced God Slayer Inferno duration from lasers from 2.5 seconds to 1.3.
  • Now rapidly fires lasers at the player if a tile is between it and the player.

Astrum Deus

  • Mines now last 15 seconds instead of 20.
  • Can now drop Nebulash and Starfall.

Calamitas

  • Projectile stat changes:
    • Buffed phase 1's brimstone laser damage in Normal Mode from 50 to 60.
    • Buffed phase 1's rapid laser damage in Normal Mode from 42 to 50.
    • Buffed phase 2's Brimstone Hellfireball damage in Normal Mode from 80 to 108.
    • Buffed phase 2's rapid laser damage in Normal Mode from 56 to 60.
    • Split brimstone lasers now deal 25% less damage.
    • Brimstone lasers and split brimstone lasers no longer produce dust, and now have altered colors.
  • Brother changes:
    • Buffed Cataclysm's health from 4000 / 5600 Режим Эксперта / 8400 Режим Месть to 4500 / 7200 Режим Эксперта / 10,400 Режим Месть.
    • Buffed Catastrophe's health from 3000 / 4200 Режим Эксперта / 6160 Режим Месть to 4000 / 6400 Режим Эксперта / 9280 Режим Месть.
    • Both brothers now switch between attacks twice as fast.
    • Both brothers now despawn quicker when off screen.
  • Brimstone Flames durations:
    • Increased phase 1 duration in Normal Mode from 2.5 seconds to 3.3.
    • Reduced phase 2 duration in Normal Mode from 5.8 seconds to 5.
    • Increased duration from Cataclysm in Normal Mode from 1.3 seconds to 3.
    • Increased duration from Catastrophe in Normal Mode from 2.5 seconds to 3.
  • Other:
    • Calamitas in both phases and her brothers no longer idly produce dust.

Ceaseless Void

  • Now always despawns if the player is killed.

Crabulon

  • Lowered chance to fire mushrooms.

The Destroyer

  • Lowered body's defense multiplier as its health gets lower by 40%.

The Devourer of Gods

  • Phase 1:
    • Nerfed health from 1,200,000 / 1,920,000 Режим Эксперта / 2,080,000 Режим Месть to 600,000 / 960,000 Режим Эксперта / 1,000,000 Режим Месть.
    • Now switches between phases more often.
    • Laser portals moved from phase 1's tail to its final phase's tail.
    • No longer occasionally spawns lasers to the left and right of the player.
    • Now has higher resistance against damage.
    • Now drops a Rod of Discord.
    • No longer drops any of its previous items.
    • Body and tail are now immune to Exo Freeze.
  • Devourer of Thots:
    • Nerfed health from 600,000 / 960,000 Режим Эксперта / 1,040,000 Режим Месть to 150,000 / 240,000 Режим Эксперта.
    • No longer spawns Stasis Probes.
    • No longer broadcasts messages to the chat.
    • Now has a unique sprite instead of using Armored Digger's.
  • Final phase:
    • Now has a final phase which spawns soon after phase 1 is defeated.
    • Will occasionally spawn 2 walls of lasers to the left and right of the player. Upon reaching 40% health, the laser wall can spawn above the player, and upon reaching 10% health, they can spawn below the player.
    • Laser portals and their lasers no longer pulsate, and instead have a light cyan filter.
    • Laser portals now last 20 seconds instead of 30.
    • Laser portal lasers can no longer pass through tiles.

Jungle Dragon, Yharon

  • Now cancels Rain if it's currently occurring.

The Plaguebringer Goliath

  • Buffed health from 48,000 / 76,800 Режим Эксперта / 89,600 Режим Месть to 52,000 / 83,200 Режим Эксперта / 89,600 Режим Месть.
  • Lowered her speed.
  • Increased screen shader intensity.

Plantera

  • Increased speed.
  • Now only gains 2x damage and 2x defense when enraged instead of when in her normal state.
  • Buffed phase 1's defense from 46 to 52, and contact damage from 87 / 174 Режим Эксперта / 217 Режим Месть to 90 / 180 Режим Эксперта / 225 Режим Месть.
  • Buffed phase 2's defense from 26 to 27.

Polterghast

  • Now cancels Rain if it's currently occurring.
  • No longer naturally spawns if it has been defeated prior or if no players are alive.
  • Nerfed hook contact damage from 250 / 350 Режим Эксперта / 437 Режим Месть to 200 / 280 Режим Эксперта / 350 Режим Месть.
  • Lowered hook speed.

Providence, the Profaned God

  • Now cancels Rain if it's currently occurring.
  • Holy burn orb now lasts 5 seconds instead of 8.
  • Holy light now lasts 5 seconds instead of 8.

Ravager

  • Can now drop Blood Pact, Flesh Totem, and Hematemesis.

Siren and Leviathan

  • Nerfed Ice Shield's health from 1900 / 2660 Режим Эксперта to 1500 / 1800 Режим Эксперта.
  • Reduced Frozen duration from Ice Shield from 2 seconds to 1.
  • Reduced Glacial State duration from frost mist from 1 second to 0.5.

Signus, Envoy of the Devourer

  • Increased speed.
  • Increased cosmic fireball velocity.
  • Cosmic Lanterns now spawn half as much dust when hit.

Storm Weaver

  • Decreased segment count in both phases by 10.
  • Phase 1's tail now takes 10x damage instead of 5x.

Supreme Calamitas

  • Attacks:
    • Now spawns large Brimstone Monsters starting from bullet hell 4.
    • Bullet hell 5 now contains Brimstone Skull projectiles which waver up and down.
    • Now fires Brimstone Gigablasts more often when a bullet hell isn't occuring.
  • Brothers:
    • Buffed Brimstone Hellblast damage from 280 / 400 Режим Эксперта / 500 Режим Месть to 500 / 600 Режим Эксперта / 750 Режим Месть.
    • No longer drop Supreme Healing Potions.
  • Mechanics:
    • Now cancels Rain if it's currently occurring.
    • Now has a hitcap. If the player is hit too many times during the fight (40 / 30 Режим Эксперта / 25 Режим Месть times), they will be instantly killed.
    • Now has a player damage cap. If a player takes 200 or less damage during the fight from an attack, they are instantly killed.
    • Now cuts the player's life regeneration depending on how much health she has left.
    • Now despawns all other NPCs alive aside from Town NPCs and her servants.

Wall of Flesh

  • Nerfed red laser damage from 70 / 140 Режим Эксперта / 175 Режим Месть to 44 / 88 Режим Эксперта / 110 Режим Месть.

Items

  • Abaddon now has an equipped sprite.
  • Adjusted the color of the stars created by Astral Staff and Astral armor.
  • Lowered the range it takes for Astral Blaster's projectile to start homing in on a target.
  • Lessened the damage reduction penalty inflicted by Ataxia armor's set bonus.
  • Renamed Gamma Fusillade to Biofusillade.
  • Crimsaber can no longer spawn projectiles upon striking The Destroyer's body segments.
  • Renamed Lacerator to Not Viable.
  • Renamed Lifefruit Scythe to Lifehunt Scythe, and reworded its tooltip from "Heals the player when attacking enemies" to "Heals the player on enemy hits".
  • Halved the amount of dust created by Nebulous Core and God Slayer armor's revives.
  • Pearl of Enthrallment now uses the Класс редкости: 7 rarity instead of Класс редкости: 5.
  • Lessened the damage reduction penalty inflicted by Reaver armor's set bonus, and lessened the speed boost granted by it.
  • Siren's Song's notes now always infinitely penetrate instead of having a 33% chance to.
  • Stream Gouge's beam now creates 3x more dust.
  • Removed the word "after" from Torrential Tear's tooltip.
  • Tarragon armor's life regeneration now activates at a 20% chance when getting hit instead of when hitting enemies.
  • Terratomere now uses Floodtide in its recipe instead of Mariana.

Balance

  • Buffed Astral Blade's damage from 82 to 90, but nerfed use time from 6 to 9.
  • Nerfed Astral Blaster's damage from 80 to 72.
  • Nerfed Astral Repeater's damage from 72 to 65.
  • Buffed Cosmic Kunai's damage from 65 to 90.
  • Buffed Cosmilamp's damage from 180 to 230.
  • Buffed Energy Staff's damage from 158 to 210.
  • Buffed Eradicator's damage from 190 to 195.
  • Nerfed Ethereal Subjugator's damage from 225 to 200.
  • Buffed Executioner's Blade's damage from 180 to 190.
  • Buffed Ghoulish Gouger's damage from 100 to 150.
  • Buffed Illustrious Knives' damage from 300 to 315.
  • Buffed Infernal Spear's damage from 650 to 720.
  • Nerfed Staff of the Mechworm's damage from 62 to 25.
  • Buffed Tarragon Throwing Dart's damage from 140 to 160.
  • Nerfed Yharon's Kindle Staff's damage from 400 to 300.

Other

  • Reduced file sizes on the mod's music.
  • The player now takes 2.7x damage from the post-Devourer of Gods Pumpkin Moon instead of 2.5x.
  • Warped now increases the player's Y velocity by 1.01x instead of 1.02x.

Resprites

  • Resprited Blighted Lens, Blood Orange, Cadance Potion, Darksun Fragment, Dragonfruit, Elderberry, Miracle Fruit, Twisting Nether, and Ueliace Bar.
  • Resprited Blighted Eye and Calamity Eye.
  • Resprited Abaddon, Badge of Bravery, Gehenna, MOAB's equipped sprite, Pearl of Enthrallment, Statis' Ninja Belt, and Tarragon Wings.
  • Resprited Acid Round, Biofusillade, Crystal Flare Staff, Frigidflash Bolt, Holy Fire Bullet, Icebreaker, Lifehunt Scythe, Lucrecia, Nettlevine Greatbow, Permafrost, Seething Discharge, Shroomer, Tarragon Throwing Dart, and Verdant.
  • Resprited Blossom Pickaxe, Cosmolight, Daylight, and Moonlight.
  • Resprited Calamitas Mask, Leviathan Mask, Tarragon Breastplate, Tarragon Leggings, and Tarragon Leggings.
  • Resprited Calamity's permanent health upgrade hearts.
  • Resprited The Devourer of Gods' gores.
  • Resprited Uelibloom Ore.
  • Resprited Supreme Calamitas' Brimstone Barrages and Brimstone Hellblasts, Exoblade's exobeams, Plaguebringer Goliath's missiles, Providence's spears, and Verdant's projectile.

Fixes

  • Fixed a sheeting error with Ceaseless Void.
  • Fixed a bug where Supreme Calamitas and her brothers weren't immune to Exo Freeze.
