The Prismalline is a craftable Hardmode non-consumable dagger that is an upgrade to the Crystalline. When used, it throws a dagger that pierces infinitely, is affected by gravity and does not go through tiles. Shortly after it is thrown, it emits 3 copies of itself in a random spread, some homing and some non-homing. Each copy deals 100% of the weapon's damage.
Performing a stealth strike with the Prismalline causes the resulting dagger to split with 5 copies and its copies to explode into 4 prism shards respectively. Additionally, an extra dagger copy is spawned, all dagger copies will home in, spawn 1-2 shards, and will deal 100% of the original damage. Each shard from the main dagger will deal 50% of the weapon's damage, and shards from the dagger copies deal 33.33% damage. The main dagger inflicts the Eutrophication debuff.
Its best modifier is Flawless.

- Buffed use time from 24 to 20.
- Main projectile now pierces infinitely instead of once, but lasts 1 second instead of 3.
- Normal throws now spawn 3 split projectiles instead of 5. Stealth strikes now spawn 5 split projectiles instead of 4, but spawn 4 shards instead of 5.
- Stealth strike split projectiles now spawn 1-2 shards instead of 1-3. Shards now home in slightly faster.
