The Igneous Exaltation is a craftable Hardmode summon weapon. When used with its primary fire (left-click), it summons an Igneous Blade that orbits around the player, damaging enemies that come into contact with it. When used with its secondary fire (right-click), it will force all blades orbiting the player to charge towards the position of the cursor and piercing up to three enemies in its path, causing three smaller blades to rain down per hit. The igneous blades will not re-orbit after being launched and will despawn shortly after. Unlike most summon weapons, the Igneous Exaltation cannot be used to target minions.
Its best modifier is Ruthless. The Mythical modifier provides the widest array of stat bonuses, but these primarily affect the initial summon rather than the resulting minion. Additionally, minions cannot deal critical hits. The only lasting advantage a Mythical Igneous Exaltation has over a Ruthless one is knockback.
