The Ectoheart is a post-Moon Lord permanent power-up item obtained from the Treasure Bag dropped by Polterghast. Upon consumption, it increases the damage of the Adrenaline Mode buff by +20% and increases how much damage reduction the player gains when hit while the meter is full by +5%. There are two other items that function identically to this: the Electrolyte Gel Pack and the Starlight Fuel Cell. It can only be used once.
