Use
The Resilient Candle is a Hardmode furniture item that is sold by the Drunk Princess for 50 . It emits light and right-clicking the placed candle grants the Resilience buff, which makes defense block 10% more damage additively, and this buff scales in higher difficulties. In Classic Mode, it will block 60% damage, while in Expert and Master Mode, it will block 85% and 110% damage respectively.
This buff lasts permanently and persists after death, but will be overridden if Limber, Spite, or Vigor are applied or the player cancels the buff.
Notes
- Unlike the Water and Peace Candles, it cannot be held by the player and is required to be placed down in order to receive its effects.
- Like all items sold by the Drunk Princess, a Discount Card or other similar items will not reduce its buy price.
- The placed candle will be dropped if it makes contact with lava.
- This does not apply with other liquids such as water.
