Where is the Sunken Sea?

What desert does it generate under one all or a couple as I have like 4 deserts in my large world (Pc steam edition) GreenStaralt (talk) 16:31, 7 January 2021 (UTC)

Question related to NPCS

Since calamity updated to 1.4.4 with 2.0 and added pylons, I was wondering, what biomes does the sunken sea count towards for NPC happiness? Is it ocean and desert, just ocean, or what does it count as?

I might be wrong, but sunken sea is counted as caverns, since calamity mod devs are too lazy to make their biomes count toward the npc happiness. however, if your npc home(s) are closer to desert in sunken sea, it would be considered as desert, if closer to end of the biome (caverns for example) it will count as caverns. again, i might be wrong.
