The Sandstream Scepter is a Pre-Hardmode wand that is dropped by the Desert Scourge. When used, it fires a fast sand blast that quickly loses velocity when it hits an enemy. The sand blast pierces once and explodes into visual sand dust clouds upon contact.

Its best modifier is Mythical.

• 2.0.3.007:
  • Renamed from "Storm Spray" to "Sandstream Scepter".
  • Reworked:
    • Buffed damage from 14 to 16, use time from 33 to 20, mana cost from 8 to 4, and shot speed from 10 to 11, but nerfed knockback from 2 to 1.
    • No longer fires a water stream that drips extra trails of water.
    • Now fires a fast sand blast that quickly loses velocity when it hits an enemy. The sand blast pierces once, and explodes on death.
