Pre-Providence 
The Elemental weapons and new items crafted using Luminite Bars and Galactica Singularities are now attainable. The Profaned Guardians can be fought at this point, which is required to get the Profaned Core to summon Providence. The Dragonfolly can also be fought, with both bosses providing access to many useful weapons and tools.
Pre-Polterghast 
Divine Geodes, Uelibloom Ore, and Bloodstone are available at this point allowing you to craft Tarragon armor and more powerful weapons. Additionally, the Sentinels drop new gear and weapons.
Pre-Devourer of Gods 
By defeating Polterghast, The Old Duke, and mini-bosses found in the Abyss, several new weapons are now available.
Pre-Yharon 
After slaying The Devourer of Gods, the season events will drop Nightmare Fuel and Endothermic Energy with their respective status messages, allowing for new items to be crafted. Additionally, Solar Eclipse enemies will begin to drop Darksun Fragments to create new, powerful gear.
Pre-Exo Mechs/Supreme Calamitas

Defeating Yharon causes Auric Ore to generate underground, allowing you to craft powerful weapons and armor. The Exo Mechs and Supreme Calamitas can also be challenged. Either boss can be fought first, and one boss' drops can be used on the other.
Endgame 
The defeat of the Exo Mechs and Supreme Calamitas allows you to combine Exo Prisms, Ashes of Annihilation, and Auric Bars to craft Shadowspec Bars, which are required for crafting most developer items. These weapons will prove useful for the Boss Rush event, as well as for defeating the Adult Eidolon Wyrm. If you are playing with other mods that add even tougher bosses, these items will help greatly for them as well.
