Grab bags

Grab bags are consumable items that give a variety of loot when opened. They can be opened from within a player's inventory by right-clicking their inventory icons.

	Necromantic Geode	Various Hardmode and post-Moon Lord crafting materials.	Drops from Ravager. (After defeating Providence.)
	Sandy Angling Kit	Various Fishing equipment and potions.	Drops from the Desert Scourge.
	Abyssal Treasure	Various typical drops from Pots.	Drops from Abyssal Pots.
	Fish of Eleum	Essence of Eleum	Fished while in the Snow biome during Hardmode.
	Havocfish	Essence of Havoc	Fished while in the Brimstone Crag during Hardmode.
	Sunbeam Fish	Essence of Sunlight	Fished while in the Space biome during Hardmode.
	Fish of Flight	Soul of Flight	Fished while in the Space biome during Hardmode.
	Fish of Light	Soul of Light	Fished while in the Underground Hallow biome during Hardmode.
	Fish of Night	Soul of Night	Fished while in the Underground Crimson or Corruption biomes during Hardmode.
	Glimmering Gemfish	Various Gems	Fished from the Cavern layer.
	Stuffed Fish	Various Herbs and Seeds	Fished from the Surface layer at Daytime.
	Sulphuric Treasure	Various typical drops from Pots.	Drops from Sulphurous Pots.
	Gorecodile	Blood Orb	Fished from the Surface layer during a Blood Moon
	Astral Crate	Various potions, crafting materials, bait, and money. After defeating Astrum Aureus, it contains Astral weapons and improved potions, and after Astrum Deus, it contains Astral Ore, Astral Bars and Meld Blobs.	Fished while in the Astral Infection biome
	Brimstone Crate	Various potions, crafting materials, bait, and money. Drops Unholy Cores once the Brimstone Elemental has been defeated, and drops Bloodstone once Providence, the Profaned Goddess has been defeated.	Fished while in the Brimstone Crag biome
	Sulphurous Crate	Various potions, crafting materials, bait, and money. After defeating The Slime God or Wall of Flesh, it contains accessories and weapons normally found in the Ancient Treasure Chests in the Abyss. After defeating Calamitas Clone, it drops Depth Cells, Lumenyl, and Planty Mush; drops Scoria Bars after Golem has been defeated, and drops Reaper Teeth after both Polterghast and The Old Duke have been defeated.	Fished while in the Sulphurous Sea biome.
	Sunken Crate	Various potions, crafting materials, bait, and money. After defeating the Desert Scourge, it contains materials found within the Sunken Sea biome. Once the world is in Hardmode and the Giant Clam is defeated, it contains weapons dropped by the Giant Clam.	Fished while in the Sunken Sea biome
	Treasure Bag	Items dropped by bosses.	Defeated Expert Mode bosses
