For the worthy

For the worthy is a secret world seed. Its features aim to drastically increase the difficulty of the game. The Calamity Mod adds several new features, such as boss and item changes, to the seed.

The following seeds can be used to generate a For the worthy world (case-insensitive):

Most bosses have AI edits on the For the worthy seed.

Bosses also gain further edits if the world was created with Master Mode selected on the world creation screen and either Revengeance or Death Mode are enabled. These additional changes are documented on the right hand column.

  • Moves 10% faster and turns 20% faster.
  • Is 60% smaller but segments increased to 77 / 92 Expert Mode / 107 Revengeance Mode / 122 Death Mode.
  • Speed when falling is doubled.
  • The number of sand blasts shot at the peak of its lunge is increased to 24 / 32 Expert Mode / 36 Revengeance Mode / 40 Death Mode.
  • Desert Nuisance has increased defense:
    • 20 for its head segment.
    • 30 for its body segments.
    • 40 for its tail segment.
  • Sand blasts are fired in a less even spread.
  • Falls much quicker after dashing.
  • Dash sand blasts are fired in a larger spread.
  • Dash sand blasts are twice as large and last for a maximum of 15 seconds instead of 10.
  • Desert Nuisances have three times as much life and turn quicker.

  • Dark Hearts move faster and their raindrops move in downward angles instead of straight down.
  • Hive Blobs have a 20% chance to shoot a Cursed Fireball instead of a Vile Clot.

  • Brimstone darts and hellblasts now inflict the Vulnerability Hex debuff for 2 seconds each.
  • All projectiles are twice as fast.

  • Leaves behind ichor blobs upon shooting fireballs.
  • Shoots 30 fireballs per ring when teleporting instead of 12.
  • Lasers are twice as fast.

  • Summons a Dragonfolly during bullet hells if one isn't alive.
Exo Mechs

  • Ares releases 4 additional Exo Overload Beams. Gauss Nuke moves at double speed and last half as long. Red Exo Pulse Lasers move 25% faster.
  • The Exo Twins' relocation range doubled, move 50% faster, and charge 15% faster. Attack telegraphs last 50% shorter. Orange Exo Pulse Lasers move 25% faster. Apollo fires 3 additional rockets.
  • Thanatos slows down at a 50% closer distance to the player and moves 15% faster. Red Exo Pulse Lasers move 25% faster.
  • Ares always enrages during its Exo Overload Beam attack.
  • Thanatos' Gamma Disintegration Beam fires lasers every second.
  • Residual lasers from Thanatos' Gamma Disintegration Beam move in random directions instead of perpendicular to the beam.
  • On the get fixed boi seed, Apollo is able to leave behind plasma blast explosions which are normally removed on the seed.
